Born in Buffalo, NY. Joined the Navy (submarine service) in 1977. Have two sons, Jeremy and Tim, and four grandchildren, McKenzie, Nicole, Jeremy Jr., and Henry. I love reading, music, aviation, and lots of other things.

Social issues I am interested in include gender relations, drunk/distracted driving, military veteran suicide, and mandatory term limits for congress.
